Book Review: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The story itself was amazing.! I suffered from the usual book/movie dilemma initially. Comparing the beautifully directed shortened version of the book to the written story. But i loved the book more in the end and eventually stopped that. If anything just for the flesh…ing out of the story (which is usually the case) One thing I’ve really become fascinated with recently is the small nuances between cultures. And this book really did wonders for adding to it. I think the translation was done by a British man, judging but the uses of “S” instead of “Z” in alot of words (i didn’t look it up though i suppose i could) But I loved that “boot of a car” is what Americans know as a “trunk” or taking the time to look up places mentioned in the book and finding out what Glogg is. It is a dark story but so wonderfully written.
