Book Review: Real Murders

Real Murders (Aurora Teagarden, #1)Real Murders by Charlaine Harris
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Above all else I can say one thing, Charlaine Harris is an excelent story teller!

This book is a bit on the short side and the story is kinda fast and shallow. But its still a great mystery book. Through out most of the book I pretty much “knew” who the killer would be….i was so wrong. And that’s what great about her stories. She leads you down an almost predictable path and then jumps off it.

I would have liked this story much better if there had been more character development and general fleshing out of the atmosphere. However, it was still good enough that I will be reading the next book in the series soon. I can only hope it fleshes out in the long run.
